Legal Secretary/Paralegal Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our Personal Injury team in Sydney.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has strong secretarial and/or paralegal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a high-performing team.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional client service skills, being empathetic and understanding towards clients' needs. They will also be required to efficiently manage files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  1. Client Liaison: The candidate will provide exceptional client service skills, being empathetic and understanding towards clients' needs.
  2. File Management: The candidate will efficiently manage files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  3. Brief Preparation: The candidate will prepare detailed briefs for counsel.
  4. Court Filing: The candidate will arrange appointments with experts and barristers, and file court documents.

There is flexibility for this role to be full-time or part-time, and potential for hybrid working.

Requirements:
  • A positive and friendly personality.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Efficient and proactive.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a legal administrative role.
  • Competence in MS Office packages.
  • Experience with Affinity (preferred but not essential).
