Job Title: Lead Legal Support SpecialistWe have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Legal Support Specialist to join our Litigation and Policy team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to take on new challenges and responsibilities while delivering high-quality support to the team.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior-level paralegal functions to support the efficient operation of our office. This includes acting as a professional point of contact with staff and key stakeholders, responding to enquiries, and providing information and advice in an effective and responsive manner.Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing general administrative and business support, including setting up meetings and taking minutes of meetings.
  • Assisting with preparation of draft legal advisings, Ministerial correspondence, briefing notes, court documents, and briefs to Counsel.
  • Undertaking legal research and filing documents in Court.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong initiative, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will also need to work effectively as part of a team and take ownership of tasks and projects.Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Has undertaken or completed tertiary legal studies or has experience working as a paralegal or lawyer, ideally in a litigation or property practice.
