Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the Senior Community Projects role at Goulburn Correctional Complex. The successful candidate will have experience in trades such as Grounds Maintenance or Construction related trades, and will be responsible for training and supervising inmates, quality control/inspection, and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise inmates in various trades
- Conduct quality control/inspection and ensure compliance
- Manage resources efficiently and effectively
- Model prosocial behaviours and align with Department of Communities and Justice Values
- Create and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Current Certificate III in any of the following trades: Grounds Maintenance or Construction related trade
- Forklift licence or capacity to obtain within CSNSW timeframes
- AQF3 Chemical Certification or capacity to obtain within CSNSW timeframes
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
- General understanding of capabilities around the use of computers and electronic platforms
