Job Description- Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to ensure the organisation's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk professionals to achieve business objectives and drive organisational success.
- Liaise with various departments to align risk management strategies with business goals and objectives.
- Manage internal and external audits to ensure the organisation's risk management framework is effective and efficient.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders to inform business decisions.
- Deliver regular risk reports to senior stakeholders to ensure they are informed and up-to-date on risk management activities.
- Establish a proactive risk culture within the organisation to promote a culture of risk awareness and responsibility.
A successful Senior Risk Manager should have:
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in risk management within the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor a team.
- Outstanding communication and report-writing skills.
- A thorough understanding of risk management frameworks and strategies.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
