About Us
We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team in contributing to the effective operation of our 24/7 Alcohol and Drug Support service. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals accessing the service, providing interventions through various mediums such as screening, information, advice, counselling, referral, and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured interventions to drug and alcohol clients, including those who have entered the service via the criminal justice system.
- Provide appropriate referrals to callers using an electronic database and knowledge of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug services, as well as general health and welfare services.
- Participate in support activities, including processing literature orders and updating agency information.
- Comply with contemporary human resource management requirements and practices.
