Job Title: People Strategist

We are seeking an experienced People Strategist to join our national business partnering team based in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have well-developed strategic partnering skills and excel in a high-performance organisation where there is a clear commitment to client service both internally and externally.

The successful applicant will be responsible for driving strategic people initiatives aligned with the firm's vision, focusing on talent development, retention, and long-term success. This includes coaching leaders to build high performing, engaged teams, delivering cyclical HR processes with precision and excellence, and collaborating with Resource Managers to optimise team resourcing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic people initiatives that align with the firm's vision and goals.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to build high performing, engaged teams.
  • Deliver cyclical HR processes with precision and excellence.
  • Collaborate with Resource Managers to optimise team resourcing and ensure effective workload management.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a HR business partnering role, ideally within a law firm, large corporate or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cyclical processes in a complex, matrix organisation.
