Job Title: Tax Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced tax professional to lead our taxation strategy and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

This role will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of complex tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in corporate or international accounting firms, with a focus on corporate tax and VAT issues. They will also have experience in implementing Pillar 2 regulations and managing tax audits and litigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize financial risk and optimize returns;
  • Provide expert advice and support to internal teams and external partners on complex tax matters;
  • Manage tax audits and litigations, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements;
  • Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations, adapting strategies accordingly.
Requirements
  • CA/CPA with 5+ years' tax experience, gained in a corporate or International Accounting firm, in a corporate tax specific function;
  • Experience working in a company with complex corporate tax, VAT, TP issues, including CFC's, tax consolidation, foreign tax offsets;
  • Experience in implementing Pillar 2 regulations in the ANZ region;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
