Job Title: Product Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the deployment of mining technology systems to our customers.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting the deployment of mining technology systems.
  • This will involve working with suppliers to design and procure non-standard bracketry and installation components.
  • The role also requires installing Mining technology Systems to heavy mining equipment, maintaining OEM level quality.
  • Additional responsibilities include commissioning and QA of mobile mining technology systems, providing hardware and system upkeep training to customers, provisioning new customers, and project documentation to OEM standard.
  • The ideal candidate will also diagnose reported issues and manage resolution reporting.
  • Staying up-to-date with WencoLite and WencoMine FMS and HPMG systems knowledge is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, coordinate, QA, and support current and future deployments of mining technology systems.
  2. Work with suppliers to design and procure non-standard bracketry and installation components.
  3. Install Mining technology Systems to heavy mining equipment, maintaining OEM level quality.
  4. Commissioning and QA of mobile mining technology systems.
  5. Provide hardware and system upkeep training to customers.
  6. Provision new customers, including onboard software installation.
  7. Project documentation to OEM standard.
  8. Diagnose reported issues and manage resolution reporting.
  9. Stay up-to-date with WencoLite and WencoMine FMS and HPMG systems knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in automotive electrical, electronics, or communications.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (WAN, LAN & Wireless).
  • Supervised project hardware installations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
