About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Strategist to join our team at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality information, analysis, and recommendations to support the achievement of business objectives.


You will work closely with senior management across the organization to negotiate and resolve conflicts, drive performance, and manage targets. Your expertise in portfolio management, reporting, and financial analysis will be instrumental in informing business decisions and driving growth.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Reporting on the performance of our business operations, including effort and cost of managed services and transformation initiatives.
  • Supporting Practice Leads and Service Owners to identify and deliver strategic outcomes, drive performance, and manage to target.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with senior management across the business and Technology & Transformation Division.
  • Financial management of the practice, including forecasting, target setting, and supporting monthly management reporting processes.
  • Staying up-to-date on the operating model and Enterprise Delivery Framework, and supporting teams to adopt models and delivery cadence.

About You


We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in portfolio management, reporting, and financial analysis. You should have a deep understanding of technology support and delivery, with experience in multiple disciplines.



  • Detailed understanding and significant experience of Portfolio Management, including program/project management, target and forecasting processes, management reporting, business analytics, and data interrogation techniques.
  • A self-starter with a drive to instigate initiatives and changes.
  • Solution-driven with creative and lateral thinking.
  • An ability to adapt proactively to customer needs and manage expectations.
  • Highly developed negotiation, communication, influencing, and relationship development skills across all levels.

Our salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements, health and wellbeing programs, and access to training and development opportunities.
