Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals who are deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing to live their lives to the fullest.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, nutrition, and health, as well as promoting social connection and community participation.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, and be able to work effectively with diverse client groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Auslan skills essential for effective communication with Deaf clients
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or another relevant qualification
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- NDS Worker Screening Card and current Driver Licence required
