Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at AVANI Melbourne Box Hill Residences. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. This is a Monday to Friday role with a minimum of 30 hours per week, with additional hours available depending on occupancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the housekeeping team to provide an exceptional cleaning service, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with housekeeping staff, clients, and contractors.
- Oversee daily on-the-job training for all cleaning employees.
- Maintain accurate financial, maintenance, and inventory records.
Requirements
- Experience in managing or supervising a housekeeping team is highly regarded.
- Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, operating supplies, replacements, and consumables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to follow procedures.
