Relationship Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project/structured finance or corporate transactions, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with senior bankers to develop and execute strategies for growing lending and investment business.
  • Support and facilitate transactions in project finance, trade finance, and other corporate finance areas.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit and investment reports; collaborate with Risk Management for analysis and approval.
  • Participate in complex corporate transactions, including M&A, privatizations, and capital market deals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact in credit underwriting and monitoring.
  • Manage and oversee closed transactions to ensure compliance and performance.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CORPORATE CLIENTS AND INTERNAL BRANCHES.
  • Develop and deliver customized financial solutions and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or FRM preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of client relationship and credit experience in corporate banking or investment banking (less may be considered for junior roles).
  • Credit trained with solid financial analysis, research, and modeling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Confident in presenting and defending ideas in front of senior stakeholders or credit committees.
