Job Title: Branch Service SpecialistAs a Branch Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing daily branch operation services to customers. Your duties will include account opening, deposits, withdrawals, remittances, and data maintenance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Review: Review documents including originals, photocopies, and scanned documents pertaining to new account openings, remittances, and term deposits.
  • AML/CTF Compliance: Check AML/CTF requirements including KYC.
  • Daily Reconciliation: Daily reconcile branch books with the settlement account of the agency bank.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage client relationships and handle customer queries and complaints.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other periodic financial reports.
  • Audit Support: Liaise with auditors (both internal and external) on audit planning and respond to audit-related queries.
  • Tax Consultation: Liaise with tax consultants and the Australian Taxation Office on income tax returns.
  • Head Office Communication: Respond to Head Office queries.
  • Operational Planning: Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitoring monthly movements and quarterly variances.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare APRA and ABS regulatory returns in accordance with prudential standards and respond to regulator queries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Required.
  • Banking Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in operations is required.
  • Australia Work Authorization: Required.
