About You

  1. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in town planning within a consultancy, local government, or equivalent organization.
  3. Proven competence in effective planning and/or project management.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  5. Awareness of and ability to work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  6. A university degree in planning or town planning, or an equivalent qualification recognized by The Planning Institute of Australia.
  7. Membership or the ability to obtain membership with The Planning Institute of Australia.
  8. A valid Class C NSW driver's license.

About the Role

  1. Undertake town planning tasks for projects, both in the office and on-site as necessary.
  2. Provide town planning services that are practical, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant standards.
  3. Assist in preparing quotations, tenders, and bills of quantities.
  4. Stay updated on relevant legislation, policies, and regulations related to urban development and town planning.
  5. Handle the lodging of development applications and other necessary approvals.
  6. Liaise, coordinate, and manage clients, subconsultants, and contractors.
  7. Conduct site inspections and visits as required.
  8. Adopt continuous learning and promote company policies and procedures.
