Job Description

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Director. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest issues facing consumers and businesses. You will be part of a collaborative team that works together to achieve meaningful outcomes.

We are looking for someone with a comprehensive knowledge of consumer protection provisions and the ability to apply them in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have experience in managing investigations and projects, as well as leading a team in a complex organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the overall management and strategic focus of activities, investigations or projects is in line with compliance and enforcement policy. You will also develop, implement and review plans for the conduct of investigations and/or projects, including appropriate allocation of resources and monitoring of expenditure.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice on trends and patterns, industry and consumer behaviour, and impacts of broader environmental change. You will also contribute to the development of ACCC positions on legislative and policy reform.

  • Leadership skills and ability to guide and develop staff
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $123,702 - $136,900 per annum, plus superannuation. You will also have the opportunity to work flexibly and autonomously, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and support.
