Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our library's collection strategy, overseeing the acquisition and management of digital, general, and special content. This is a critical role that will enable us to build a user-focused library collection attuned to the needs of a modern, global university.

This position involves leading a team of professionals in delivering selection, acquisition, description, licensing, negotiation, and collection analysis services. You will work closely with leaders across the library to drive the delivery of our strategy and operations.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a collection strategy that meets the needs of our users. This will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and developing solutions to address these gaps.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in librarianship or a related field;
  • Extensive experience in collection development and management;
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and direct a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Familiarity with metadata standards and technologies;
