Job Title:
Collections Strategist and Metadata Lead
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our library's collection strategy and metadata management services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering selection, acquisition, description, licensing, negotiation, and collection analysis services to build a user-focused library collection attuned to the needs of a modern, global research institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams to deliver digital, general, and special content and collections that support research, teaching, and learning.
- Work alongside leaders to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- Ensure that library services and resources meet user needs through commitment to governance and integrity in the acquisition and management of collections.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of collection development and metadata management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
