Job SummaryA skilled Spray Painter is required to join our team to undertake quality workmanship and ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who can demonstrate exceptional painting skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and match colours for vehicles prepared for painting
  • Develop and maintain an extensive colour library
  • Prepare, prime and paint vehicles according to job sheet requirements following paint supplier processes
  • Buff and denib vehicles to achieve high-quality finishes
  • Carefully handle all vehicles with due attention to detail
  • Document any extra paint work required that is not quoted for
  • Report old damage or poor previous repairs to production managers
  • Ensure the cleanliness of work bays and workshop areas
  • Provide coaching support to apprentices when needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade qualifications as a Spray Painter
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter
  • Strong commitment to working safely
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ownership of necessary tools and equipment
