We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition through quality workmanship.
The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in Spray Painting and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a trade qualified Spray Painter. They will also possess excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Mix and match colours for vehicle painting
- Build and maintain a colour library
- Prepare, prime, and paint vehicles according to job specifications and supplier processes
- Buff and denib vehicles
- Handle vehicles with care and attention
- Document additional paint work required beyond quoted specifications
- Report old damage or poor previous repairs to production managers
- Keep work bays and workshops clean
- Coach apprentices when necessary
- Trade qualification in Spray Painting
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a trade qualified Spray Painter
- A strong commitment to working safely
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with the team
