Out of Home Care Therapeutic Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional to support vulnerable and disadvantaged youth reach their full potential in our dynamic environment.

This role requires resilience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with young people who may be experiencing challenging behaviors or emotions. The ideal candidate will be available to work a 24/7 roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Support young people's emotional and practical needs by offering a listening ear and helping out when they need it most.
  • Encourage personal growth and well-being by helping them build skills, confidence, and a positive outlook on life.
  • Manage behind-the-scenes tasks by taking care of day-to-day administration and ensuring the household runs smoothly.
  • Create a positive environment that is welcoming, stable, and supportive for everyone.
  • Provide a nurturing home environment, including cooking nutritious meals and encouraging healthy eating habits.

This position requires a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or a similar relevant qualification) plus completion of required units. A valid driver's license and relevant checks are also necessary.
