About the Role

We offer a range of benefits including SCHADS Level 3 pay point 1, excellent penalty rates for night work, access to an After Hours support service, and ongoing training and development through our institution.

- Must hold a current Working with Children Check (Employee version).
- Must complete a National Criminal Records check, and participate in a psycho-social screen.
- Must provide consent for a Disqualified Carers Check.
- Must hold a valid Victorian driver's licence.
- Must hold either Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residence or a valid Australian Work Visa.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- You are open to being challenged and able to consider different views.
- You have an understanding of attachment and trauma-informed practice.
- You are willing to work collaboratively as a team member.
- You have the ability to remain calm in emotionally demanding situations.
- You are committed to personal and professional development.
- You have experience with conflict resolution and mediation.
- You possess critical response skills to youth-based crisis situations.
- You have an ability to identify and assess suicide/self-harm risks and understand strategies to manage these risks.
We are a Child Safe Organisation, committed to providing a thoughtful and protective environment that supports our babies, children and young people to feel safe and respected, and to build their capacity to feel deeply cared for and important to other human beings.
