Job Title: Youth Care Specialist

Skillfully providing daily care to vulnerable youth, you will contribute significantly to their growth and development.

We are seeking an experienced Youth Care Specialist who can offer comprehensive support services to our young clients. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for working with children and families in need.

You will be part of a dedicated team that provides residential care and NDIS services. As a key member of this team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of the young people in our care.

About the Role
  • Providing 24/7 care and support to youth aged 12-17 in our care placements
  • Fostering positive relationships with young people and colleagues alike
  • Transporting young people to and from school, day programs, and appointments as required
  • Assisting in implementing tailored programs aimed at promoting growth and development
  • Maintaining accurate summary notes and contributing to a safe and welcoming environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid Working with Children Check (for paid employment)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID003)
  • A National Police Check (for applicants who have lived continuously for 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years)
  • A current driver's license
  • Ability to participate in a Worker/Carer Exclusion Scheme Check
  • An NDIS Worker Check (can be obtained via )
  • Enrollment in/undertaking or hold, either: Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention; or a recognised relevant qualification (if unsure, ask)
