Youth Therapeutic Care Specialist

This position involves working as part of a dedicated team to deliver high-quality therapeutic care to vulnerable young people aged 10-17 who have experienced trauma, neglect, and abuse.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with colleagues to implement current best practice therapeutic interventions and program guidelines.
- Provide positive support and guidance to young people in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits while promoting independence.
- Create a safe and nurturing home environment, including managing household duties and providing nutritious meals.
- You must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, active listening, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and multitasking are essential in this role.
- A non-judgmental approach and creative thinking are required to support young people effectively.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for transporting young people.
- A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required.
- Comprehensive training in areas such as AOD, First Aid, Health & Safety.
