Electrical Site Coordinator Job

This is a unique opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest energy storage projects.

You will be responsible for managing the planning and coordination of electrical and mechanical installation activities across the site.

The role involves developing and maintaining a detailed site baseline schedule in Primavera P6, applying resource and cost loading to support cost-to-complete forecasting, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and monitoring progress against plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain real-time updates of the site schedule, ensuring alignment with the overall master schedule and client programme.
  • Monitor progress against plan and track interface milestones (civil works, logistics, subcontractors).
  • Validate subcontractor progress reports and integrate updates into the schedule.
  • Highlight and manage critical path risks; monitor float and buffer consumption.
  • Propose mitigations, recovery strategies, and acceleration measures where required.
  • Support daily and weekly look-ahead planning with the delivery and field teams.
  • Promote a schedule-driven culture on site, partnering closely with project and field supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Project Management certification or postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.
  • 10+ years' experience in construction scheduling and planning, with at least 5 years in a lead capacity.
  • Strong background in large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, with experience using Power BI; SAP familiarity is a bonus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning, and interface coordination.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and performance on complex project sites.
