Medical Laboratory Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for laboratory work and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of laboratory investigations and tests, as well as maintaining equipment and materials in line with established laboratory processes and protocols.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a minimum qualification of Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution. You should also have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of pathology services within a relevant discipline, including use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Systems.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.

This is a Category A position, which requires applicants to read and understand NSW Health Policy Directive PD2024_015 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Diseases.

If selected, you may be required to undergo a functional assessment prior to appointment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
