Scientist Wanted for Regional Pathology Laboratory

The laboratory is seeking a qualified scientist to work on a full-time maternity leave contract in our regional pathology laboratory situated in Nowra.

This position is an integral part of the service we provide to the local private hospital and medical community. The successful applicant will be responsible for various laboratory clinical tasks including biochemistry, haematology, and blood bank.

They will participate in the after-hours on-call roster and work flexible shifts in a rotating roster.

We are looking for an applicant who can deal with clients in a professional manner, use positive language, demonstrate a high level of accuracy, and multitask.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary pathology qualifications and previous pathology laboratory experience. They must reside within 30 minutes travelling time of the Nowra laboratory to satisfy on-call requirements.
