About This Role

This role provides a range of services for individuals with disabilities or frail aged persons needing low or high-level care.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • To assist with personal care and household tasks as outlined in the client's care plan,
  • To facilitate transport and community access as required,
  • Household domestic cleaning tasks,
  • Perform tasks associated with personal assistance, such as assisting with showering, cooking meals, and other duties as requested,
  • Provide social and emotional support and companionship to the client or the carer of the client
  • To act according to emergency procedures,
  • To support the implementation, adherence, and review of an Elder's care plan/task list

Potential Candidates Will Possess

  • Australia working rights,
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support,
  • Certificate II HACC, Aged Care or equivalent/higher (optional),
  • Previous experience in an aged care (optional),
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate (optional),
  • Basic computer skills,
  • Victorian / NSW Driver's licence
