Job Overview

The Operations Supervisor is a key role within our organization, responsible for the day-to-day management of bus services at a depot.

This includes overseeing staff performance and rosters, maintaining fleet standards, and ensuring exceptional safety and contractual requirements are met.

As an ideal candidate, you will have previous experience in leading and managing teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety is the top priority in all areas of operations
  • Monitor and maintain shift rosters, allocating drivers and buses as needed
  • Deliver services that meet contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Allocate buses and drivers for rail replacement and charter bookings, ensuring correct management of fatigue and payroll processing
  • Investigate accidents and incidents by reviewing CCTV footage and other sources of information
  • Monitor staff performance and provide support where needed to ensure performance standards are achieved
  • Report defects and mechanical issues with buses in a timely manner
