We are seeking a driven sales and business development professional to spearhead growth opportunities in the cryptocurrency space.

About the Role

This role will be based in Sydney, reporting directly to the Group Head of Sales & Business Development, collaborating with various functions including OTC Desk, Marketing, Compliance, and Support Team.

As a sales and business development manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with our business objectives. You will identify and target new business leads and sales opportunities, establish relationships, and negotiate terms to onboard new clients successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Lead Identification and Targeting: Identify and target new business leads and sales opportunities, establishing relationships and negotiating terms to onboard new clients successfully.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage a high-value sales pipeline, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, activation, and retention.
  • Industry Trends and Regulatory Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements impacting sales efforts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to track and report sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Presentation and Networking: Participate in group presentations to partners and attend industry networking events.

About You

Sought-After Skills and Experience:
  • A genuine passion for crypto and ability to quickly build on existing knowledge of the crypto ecosystem.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years B2B sales and business development experience from a financial services, payments, or investment background, demonstrating previous success in managing client-facing roles.
  • The ability to manage a sales process through the entire sales cycle, from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and closing.
  • A proactive mindset, engaging with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
