Overview:

The Head of Cryptocurrency Operations will be responsible for the overall management and optimization of the company's crypto operations. Reporting to the CEO, this role requires a deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, regulatory landscape, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive crypto operations strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the effort of commercializing a cryptocurrency platform or business.
  • Develop the backbone of the crypto business: Trading systems, operating systems & policies, user acceptance testing (UAT), project management, and final confirmation before go-live.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of crypto trading, custody, and settlement processes.
  • Build and lead a high-performing crypto operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Establish robust risk management frameworks and controls to mitigate crypto-related risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable crypto regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience in building and scaling crypto operations.
  • Proven track record in crypto operations or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including trading, custody, and settlement.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks.
