Project Officer Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a transformative rail infrastructure project as a Project Officer. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support services and assist with the management of key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-level administrative support, including database management, word processing, office logistics, correspondence tracking, file management, and electronic mail handling.
  • Communicate effectively with various levels of management, industry representatives, and senior executives on a wide range of issues.
  • Analyse enquiries or requests from internal and external stakeholders by researching information and determining appropriate actions.
  • Manage diary requirements for senior project leaders by scheduling governance meetings and other key appointments.
  • Monitor, maintain, update, and progress correspondence along with related filing systems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience supporting infrastructure projects within an engineering environment.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-level administrative support in fast-moving environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of scheduling practices for senior executives.
  • Familiarity with public sector operations or large organisations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resilience and adaptability when navigating ambiguity or shifting priorities.
