About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lawyer to join our in-house Legal team in Sydney, NSW. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a strong in-house legal team with excellent career development opportunities and flexibility to make the role your own.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head of Legal, your role will involve providing strategic advice to business units and senior management on significant legal issues, representing the company's interests on large-scale bids and associated contracts.
  • Ownership of the legal service for significant projects, addressing upstream and downstream contractual arrangements and supporting all legal aspects of the project from EOI through to contract close.
  • Advising on and negotiating a range of contract types, enjoying working autonomously as part of a collegiate team, and being pragmatic and practical in your approach.

About You

  • At least 6-10 years' PQE, preferably in-house experience.
  • Good knowledge and experience of advising on and negotiating contracts.
  • Impressive interpersonal and communication skills and a drive to succeed.
