Job Title: Test and Evaluation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Test and Evaluation Specialist to play a key role in delivering complex defence projects that safeguard Australia's future.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Defence Test and Evaluation Systems Engineering concepts, as well as experience in planning, managing, and reporting on test and evaluation activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing and maintaining Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and T&E related artifacts and engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Conducting test and evaluation, certification and systems assurance, and T&E in the One Defence Capability System (ODCS).
  • Preview Test and Evaluation (PT&E), Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Acceptance Test and Evaluation (AT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) and In-Service Test & Evaluation (In-Service T&E).
  • Providing technical and professional advice on test and evaluation planning, management, and reporting.
  • Risk management and Verification and Validation (V&V), and undertaking system T&E or trial tasks and draft T&E Reports.
Requirements:
  • Relevant and recent test and evaluation experience within the Defence industry.
  • Good understanding of Defence test and evaluation Systems Engineering concepts.
  • Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
  • Previous and current experience and thorough understanding of test and evaluation policies.
  • Current/active test and evaluation accreditation (preferred).
Security Clearance:

A minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher Security clearance is required due to the nature of the work.
