Defence Programme Support

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Defence Relationship and Process Analyst.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a multi-year programme supporting the Australian Defence Force, working closely with customers to manage relationships and map out their processes.

The role requires embedding with the customer onsite, therefore remote work opportunities do not exist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and document user problems, needs, and/or enhancements opportunities.
  • Capture and model current and planned business processes.
  • Conduct user liaison for ICT activities including software development.
  • Coordinate and manage engagements with relevant stakeholders, including support teams, end users, and other involved in business analyst activities.
  • Provide feedback on areas for improvement within existing business processes and support Organisational Change Management.
  • Contribute to, improve, and enable delivery and escalation processes.
  • Support Change Management activities and the transition of solutions into production and operational use.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with previous military knowledge or ADF working experience. The successful candidate will have:

  • Expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Organisational Change Management experience and ability to bring the customer along the change management journey.
  • Business Process Mapping Experience and Understanding.
  • Strong presentation, engagement, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes.
  • Proven strong collaboration skills and an ability to work proactively with technical staff, management, end users, and other stakeholders to ensure that value is delivered to end users in a timely manner.
  • Awareness of Power BI use.
