The Role
  • We are seeking a skilled accountant to manage our financial performance, drive business success, and improve profit margins.
  • Your responsibilities will include managing Profit & Loss statements to ensure accurate month-end reports, providing client billing and reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, site audits, and handling budgets and forecasts.
Main Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for accurate and timely month-end closing processes, including month-end reconciliations, P&L preparation and analysis, and preparation of monthly reports identifying and reporting on key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will also partner with internal stakeholders to offer solutions to enhance financial performance, create accurate journal entries as required, and ensure the integrity of journal entries by having appropriate data and approvals.
  • Additional tasks will include stock take reconciliation, regular management reporting and analysis, developing and preparing reports to specifications, balance sheet reconciliation, administration of invoicing, receipt, and approval processes, contract compliance, preparation of contract price escalations, preparation of contractual variations, review of commercial terms, assisting internal and external stakeholders, budgeting and forecasting, maintenance of the contract database register and files, and identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement and streamlining of existing processes.
