Business Partner Opportunity

Your new role involves managing financial activities and acting as a business partner to key stakeholders. You'll provide support and analysis to optimize decision-making and performance.

This position requires providing reliable and relevant business insights and reporting, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will review business processes, identify areas for development, and support the implementation of new initiatives and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage & coordinate annual plans, forecasts and strategic objectives
  • Provide financial advice & analysis on operations, including revenue, profit and expenses.
  • Create and maintain reports on variances, with feedback for management to provide opportunities to meet targets
  • Analyse & reconcile current inventory position, providing insight to the business with calculations for obsolescence & other initiatives
  • Review processes & report on opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Work closely with management to develop and initiate new initiatives and strategies
  • Support Operations teams on all financial analysis & performance matters including tender submissions, proposals and contract reviews
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a business discipline
  • To be a CPA or Chartered Accountant, with a minimum of 10 years post degree experience
  • Strong commercial acumen, with high financial literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills, and a customer service mindset
  • Driven with demonstrable success in influencing outcomes & strategic initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail and the drive to meet deadlines
  • Advanced skills in MS office, with accurate and timely delivery of reports
  • Experience and comfort in presenting to senior management and operations staff
