Indigenous Audio and Language Content Specialist

**Job Title:** Indigenous Audio and Language Content Specialist
SBS Radio is recruiting for a content lead to develop Indigenous audio and language material. The position is based in Sydney or Melbourne, and the successful candidate will oversee the creation of new content recorded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages.
The specialist will collaborate with NITV Radio and various content creators to grow SBS's Indigenous Content Strategy and ensure compliance with the RAP Elevate plan. They will also mentor new staff and support team development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the development of Indigenous audio and language material and related content initiatives.
- Collaborate with NITV Radio and other content creators to grow SBS's Indigenous Content Strategy.
- Mentor and guide new staff and support team development.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in Indigenous media with a strong track record of creating content for First Nations audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with Indigenous media staff and respect cultural protocols.
- Able to work from Sydney or Melbourne and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including cross-organisation teams.
