Lead Indigenous Audio Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the development of Indigenous audio and language content for SBS Radio.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead the creation of new material recorded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages, collaborating with NITV Radio and content creators to grow the SBS Indigenous Content Strategy and ensure compliance with the Audio and Language Content division's RAP Elevate plan.
This is an exciting opportunity for a media practitioner of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent to join our team and contribute to the growth of Indigenous content on SBS Radio.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the development of Indigenous audio and language content initiatives.
- Collaborate with NITV Radio and other content creators to grow SBS Indigenous Content Strategy.
- Mentor and guide new staff to support team development.
- Proven experience in Indigenous media with a strong track record of creating content for First Nations audiences.
- Ability to work from Sydney or Melbourne and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with Indigenous media staff and respect cultural protocols.
