Indigenous Content Lead Position

This is a unique opportunity for a media practitioner of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent to spearhead the development of Indigenous audio and language content, collaborating with NITV Radio and content creators to drive the SBS Indigenous Content Strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the creation of Indigenous audio and language content initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure RAP Elevate plan compliance and success.
  • Mentor and guide new staff, fostering team growth and development.

A strong record of building engaging content catering to First Nations audiences is essential. The ability to work effectively with Indigenous media staff and respect cultural protocols is crucial in this role.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Indigenous media with a successful track record of creating compelling content for First Nations audiences.
  • Ability to work from Sydney or Melbourne and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across different regions.
