About the Opportunity

The Market Research Officer plays a vital role in enhancing our mission by ensuring robust survey participation and effective communication with stakeholders.

This 18-month Fixed-Term opportunity based in Launceston or Hobart is part-time (0.6) and requires the successful candidate to collaborate closely with the brand team to create up-to-date promotional assets.

We are seeking an individual who consistently tracks survey response metrics, providing detailed weekly progress reports, and oversees and addresses incoming survey-related enquiries, delivering prompt and accurate responses.

To succeed in this role, you will need sound numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to utilise computerised administrative systems and databases, as well as high attention to detail, well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to tight timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently track survey response metrics, providing detailed weekly progress reports.
  • Oversee and address incoming survey-related enquiries, delivering prompt and accurate responses.
  • Administer and schedule email and SMS survey invitations and reminders.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and quality checks on survey questionnaires within the Qualtrics platform.
  • Lead the recruitment and scheduling of focus group participants, facilitating effective representation and feedback.
What We're Looking For:
  • High level competence in creating and updating charts and tables for reports (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Sound numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to utilise computerised administrative systems and databases
  • High attention to detail, well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to tight timeframes.
  • Proven ability to act independently within established guidelines, exercising discretion, sound judgement and adaptability to prioritise between competing demands of different projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport at all levels.
Salary Details

The successful applicant will be appointed at HEO 5 with a total remuneration package of up to $102,190, comprising base salary within the range of $78,210 to $87,342 plus 17% superannuation.
