We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Actuarial function.

About the Role
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation in data analytics and machine learning, leveraging these tools to inform business decisions.
  • You will work closely with Finance and other functions to analyze experience data, provide insights on reserving, claims, and retention, and make recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Your expertise in experience investigations and assumption development will be critical in informing our strategy and delivering results.
  • In addition, you will collaborate with product and pricing teams to leverage emerging trends and data to drive business growth.
  • You will also be responsible for reporting on New Business Value to local management and Group, including analyzing drivers of value and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
  • Another important aspect of this role is managing the annual Financial Condition Report process, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Furthermore, you will support the Appointed Actuary on CPS 320 and Actuarial Advice Framework matters, including pricing review.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and actuarial science
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas simply
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing insights to inform business decisions
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to distill complex concepts into actionable advice
