Job Description

The position of Actuarial Manager – Pricing involves key involvement in the underwriting team for AUSPAC Transformation.

Responsibilities include delivering pricing work as part of QBE's Modernisation program.

Key tasks include high-level algorithm design, leveraging Earnix Price-It capabilities, data analysis and price setting using Earnix Price-It, interpreting complex models using standard pricing techniques, understanding the impact of pricing on performance KPIs of various business units, managing allocated projects or assignments including pricing for products, providing input into best practice standards for later product delivery, contributing to future pricing approaches definition and design.

About You
  • Success in general insurance pricing, particularly commodity / Personal Lines
  • Understanding of business-as-usual pricing processes and relationships with stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Earnix Price-It and data analysis
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and extrapolate statistical and technical pricing data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelors degree in actuarial or mathematically focused area

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, effective communication skills and ability to understand complex pricing data.
