we are seeking volunteers to assist our therapy teams working with children and adults with cerebral palsy and similar conditions.

as a volunteer, you will support our staff and clients to run sports programs for individuals with disabilities.

the programs include basketball, athletics, and soccer sessions typically after 3:30pm and up to 6:00pm on school terms.

responsibilities
  • assist therapists in running group sessions for individuals with disabilities.
  • support the implementation of sports programs such as basketball, athletics, and soccer.
  • volunteer one or more days per term; programs operate throughout the school term and start from 3:30pm.
qualifications
  • individuals must be at least 16 years old.
  • a current ndis worker screening is required.
  • a valid working with children check nsw is also necessary.
  • compliance with the working with vulnerable people act is mandatory.
  • disclosure of any pre-existing injuries or illnesses that may impact volunteering is essential.
