Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Trainer to join our team. This role involves delivering training and assessment on online learning platforms, as well as assisting in the development of training materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment programs for students and staff.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials, including scripts, videos, and other resources.
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and courses.
  • Ensure that all training and assessment activities meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Carpentry or higher-level qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the Carpentry sector, with a strong understanding of industry practices and procedures.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills in delivery and assessment of regulatory and competency-based training.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
  • Competent knowledge of ASQA compliance and other applicable standards and legislation.
