This job is looking for a qualified chef to prepare meals in a hospital setting.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for cooking and presenting food that meets the needs of patients, staff, and other hospital users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
  • Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Support daily kitchen operations, including ordering and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential).
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and OH&S standards.
  • Proven experience in food preparation for individuals and groups (hospital experience highly regarded).
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows with strong organisation skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
