Lead Operations Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Operations Manager to lead a small team providing research administration and executive support to the Maritime Division. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the Divisional Operations Team functions and tasking with high quality results
  • To provide clear communication, set performance standards, manage performance, delegate responsibility, and guide and develop people within the team
  • To accurately complete work within timeframes and quality assure the team's outputs
  • To build collaborative relationships throughout the Division, Defence, Site Teams, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality Divisional Operations Team services
  • To manage collaboration requirements for the Division, including major visits, events, travel, executive support, Divisional communication, and knowledge management
  • To contribute to strategic staffing requirements for the Division and manage the delivery of resultant workforce requirements

About the Role

The Maritime Division delivers maritime domain innovation, science, and technology programs, partnering with Defence capability development divisions, Navy, CASG, and NSSG. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the success of the Division.
