Seeking Experienced Social Worker

The role involves delivering face-to-face and online teaching of postgraduate courses in social work.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and workshops to students.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum, new course modules, and course material.
  • Ensure compliance of all courses with appropriate AQF level and ASWEAS standards.
  • Employ a variety of instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development, marking, and compilation of assessments.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a PhD in Social Work or an experienced social worker with a minimum of five years (FTE) of post-qualifying practice experience.
  • Experience in teaching units related to legal and ethical issues in Social Work practice.
  • Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and instructional design.
