- The wildMANN group would like to employ a Group Exercise Instructor / Exercise Scientist for the provisions of our exercise-based strength and balance programs for older people throughout the Illawarra. This will involve exercise prescription, physiological testing and individual monitoring of a range of differing capabilities.

The Postural Stability service is conducted in a community-based facility to also provide participants with social outings to also target social isolation that is often felt by our older generation when they suddenly find themselves living on their own.

**Duties**
- Prescription of exercise-based strength and balance programs to both individuals and targeted groups of clients
- Conducting and instruction of one hour group exercise classes
- Individual physiological testing on a 6 monthly basis
- Modifying exercises or group sessions for individual capabilities
- Completion of individual participant sessions notes
- Completion of associated Health and Safety checks of host facilities prior to commencement and upon completion of services
- Completion and monitoring of participant attendance records
- Online booking system and tablet usage
- Undertaking group discussions and dissemination of handout education on health-related topics
- Written and oral communications with Health Care Professionals, clients and care workers / agencies
- Undertaking health promotion activities relating to the area of professional expertise of both individual and targeted groups of clients and/or their families and staff
- Contributing to the promotion of the service to relevant individuals and groups within the local community
- Representing the wildMANN group at promotional events, such as Seniors Expo's
- Committing to the achievement of client outcomes
- Management of cash and card payments
- Office duties as needed
- Associated duties to support the development of the wildMANN group and its programs

**Qualifications**
- Group Exercise Instructor and / or Bachelor degree in Exercise Science
- Current AUSactive and / or ESSA Registration
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Current Australian Driver's License and access to own car
