Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical fitting tasks, including installation, maintenance and repair of plant and equipment, in a fast-paced mining environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project, constructing a new primary crusher, overland conveyor, radial stacker and associated stockpiling systems.

You will have the chance to develop your skills and experience working on a large-scale construction project, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical fitting tasks, including installation, maintenance and repair of plant and equipment

- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and site teams to ensure successful project outcomes

- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity

Requirements

- Certificate III Mechanical Fitter trade certificate or equivalent

- 3-5 years' experience in a similar FIFO role

- High Risk EWP & WAH ticket desirable

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings

- Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
