Role Description:

Seeking an experienced General Practitioner to provide high-quality care in remote NT communities. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution and develop skills in a culturally diverse setting.

Clinical Expertise: General Practice

What's Involved?
  • Delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
  • Working on-site in remote clinics for short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A fellowship with either Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a general practitioner within the past 12 months.
  • Evidence of completion of current and previous triennium requirements and active participation in continuing education recognised by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Quality Assurance and Continuous Professional Development (RACGP QA & CPD) or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine-Professional Development Program (ACRRM PDP).
  • Current professional indemnity insurance as a General Practitioner (Level 1)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
